- Initiation and participation on a Talkgroup call can only occur
within the home calling area
Pricing
Every Nextel customer can use the Talkgroup service on a pay-as-you-
go basis ($0.15 per minute per participant, charged to call initiator) for
customers on a rate plan that includes Nextel Direct Connect minutes.
Customers that have a bucket of Nextel Direct Connect minutes
included in their cellular plan will have minutes deducted based on the
use per participant. Or you can choose from one of the available
packages including:
250 Talkgroup minutes - $10.00/month
Unlimited Talkgroup minutes - $25.00/month
All Direct Connect calls use the Nextel Direct Connect minutes in your
plan.
