Sprint Family Locator gives you and your family peace of mind in the
palm of your hand. Locate family members anytime, anywhere, either
from a registered “locator” phone or from the web.

Features include:
- Interactive mapping - View up to four family members’
locations, real-time, on an interactive map that includes street
addresses and surrounding landmarks.
- Safety checks - Automatically check a child’s location at a
specified time. See where your children have been with maps that
feature breadcrumb trails or text-based reports.
- Communicate safely and securely - Send text messages to
the child you’re locating via the Sprint Family Locator application
on your phone or the Sprint Family Locator website.
- Permission-based - As a parent, you control access to who can
locate your child’s phone. Permission is password-protected.
Phones:
Almost any Sprint or Nextel phone can be used as a locatable “child”
phone, which is all that is required to locate your child from the Sprint
Family Locator website. Optionally, you can also locate your child from
your handset if you have a supported “parent phone. Click here to

Plan and Plan Add-Ons:
You do not need to download anything to the phone being located (the
“child phone”) in order to locate it from the Sprint family locator
Website. If you would like to locate your child from your phone, the
parent application is available for download at no additional charge
beyond the standard $9.99 monthly service fee, though a data plan is
required.
If you wish to use the application's text messaging capabilities and
have a Nextel child phone, you will need to add text messaging to your
plan. Please contact us for more information about recommended
plans.

on. You'll also use the website to configure the service (determine
which phones will be located, select child notifications, etc). Learn
